G. Shilling, Ph.D.
Dr.
Shilling completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in
Child and Family Psychology at
Alliant
International
University
in
California
. She is licensed by the
Commonwealth
of
Virginia
.
Dr. Shilling has worked within the field of psychology for 10 years
providing individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents
and adults with complex mental health and substance abuse issues. She has
provided treatment services in residential/inpatient, partial
hospitalization, day treatment and outpatient settings. Dr. Shilling has
also worked within school systems providing consultation and clinical
services. She has experience working within multidisciplinary teams
collaborating with schools, probation, child protective services and other
social service agencies. Dr. Shilling has also been an adjunct professor
in
California
and
Virginia
, teaching both undergraduate and graduate level psychology courses.
Dr. Shilling offers individual therapy, family therapy and group
therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with academic, motivational,
behavioral and emotional difficulties. She also offers psychological
assessment and clinical supervision to graduate level psychology students.
