Jessica Orenstein Hunter, MA, Psy.D. Jessica has spent several years working with the chronically mentally ill population and has years of experience with treating adults and older adults with chronic and persistent mental illness. She also has been involved in program management and psychotherapy for the past six years. Jessica assumed the role of Program Manager of Portals’ Mariposa Clubhouse in 2006 and Director in April 2007. During this time she has also served as the Director of the Full Service Partnership Program for Older Adults, Field Capable Clinical Services and Twin Peaks Residential Treatment programs. Prior to joining Portals, Jessica was a Team Supervisor and Program Director at Pacific Clinics from 2001 to 2006, conducting individual and couples therapy and management for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. Jessica is currently licensed by the state of California and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jessica provides psychotherapy to adults and older adults as individuals, couples and groups. She has experience and interest in working with patients with Anxiety and Depression, Adjustment Issues and Bipolar Disorder as well as Grief and Loss in Older Adults. She earned her Masters Degree in Applied Psychology from Boston University and received her Doctorate from George Washington University in Clinical Psychology.
