Ella Peresechenski, M.D.

Dr. Ella Peresechenski, known to her patients as Dr. Ella or Dr. P, attended Madeira School in McLean, Virginia. She then moved to NYC to attend NYU, where she studied biology. She continued her Master level studies at Columbia University, where she studied nutritional sciences.
Dr. Peresechenski studied medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in her beautiful home state of Virginia.
She completed her Adult psychiatry residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, where she received clinical excellence award in her second year of training. She continued her subspecialty fellowship training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at Children’s National Hospital.
She is double board certified in Adult and Child/Adolescent psychiatry and enjoys working with patients of all ages. Her clinical interest and expertise include seeing patients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD). Also Dr. Peresechenski is happy to provide a second opinion in complex diagnostic cases.
Dr. Peresechenski was born in Kishinev, Moldova and speaks fluent Russian.
She is available for comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy Tuesdays through Fridays.
